No recreating/initializing the VD will not help that. It takes all of 60 seconds to do this and ensure you don't start with any logical errors in the VD. The benefit of recreating/initializing the VD is the same as formatting before an install - it ensures a clean, solid foundation. At first, I misread the meaning of what you said. When I try to then mount 'Virtual Media session already exists'.Īnyone know how I can mount both the floppy and CD image at the same time? Any help would be appreciated. When I mount the image, it shows as a Floppy Image on the Virtual Media. I have created a disk image with the perc drivers on it. Does it look like the driver may be corrupted? Trying to rule out my Nlite setup, from what the DRAC mentions, it says I can mount a floppy and CD ROM drive at the same time. The system boots into the existing Win 2k3 without any issues. When the setup starts and tries to find the local drive is says it did not any hard disk drive. I can see the driver being loaded when running through the setup screen. I have tried to slipstream the drivers using Nlite both as a PNP and txt option. Hi, I'm trying to do a Win 2k3 re-install on a 1950 with a Perc 6/i controller. I thought RAID 6 on PERC 6/i was describing the disk subsystem. I guess it's not the PERC RAID driver after all. The Disk Drives driver for the PERC 6/i is from MS. Now when I check the Storage Controller driver it is from Dell.
